Policies and FAQ

PRICING: Please note that all prices are in U.S. 'dollars'. Shipping and handling are not included.

 

ORDER PROCESSING POLICY: After you submit your order, you will receive a computer-generated confirmation that your order was placed. If there are extra shipping, handling or other charges for your order, we will let you know the amount when the order is confirmed.
  • If you are paying by money order, your order will be held for seven (7) days. If payment is not received within that time, the hold will be removed from the item(s) and they will be returned to stock.
  • Item(s) paid for by money order are shipped 3 business days after receipt
  • If you are paying by credit card, your order will be shipped 3 business days after receipt
  • If you are using our option for a payment service, your order will be shipped 3 business days after receipt

 

SALES TAX: Sales taxes (if any) are calculated based on the location to which the product is being shipped.

 

OUR SHIPPING POLICY: Most items will be shipped by Best_Way-Free. We may elect to ship by some other carrier and will notify you if that is the case. Alaska and Hawaii: We do not currently ship via UPS to Alaska or Hawaii because of the prohibitive cost. ***International buyers: Must choose the International First Class shipping option (Free Delivery *only* applies within the US). We reserve the right to change the shipping option to International or cancel the orders of international buyers who choose any other shipping option. International buyers are responsible for all Customs fees and taxes charged by their governments.***

 

OUR RETURN POLICY: We're certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. We take extra care to fully describe our items, including any flaws. If you have any questions about the item(s) you are ordering, please use our question form to ask us about the item before placing your order.

If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, please contact us for return instructions within three (3) days (by phone or email) of receipt of your item(s). Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), we will issue a refund for your item(s) if returned in the same condition as it was when it was sent to you excluding any shipping/insurance costs for which you were responsible. Buyer is responsible for return shipping/insurance costs, which will not be reimbursed for any reason. Returned merchandise must be received by us within seven (7) days of the date from which you contact us regarding the return.

 

OUR RESTOCKING POLICY: If you need to make a return, please *email us* for return instructions; we do not handle returns by phone (ie., due to problems some customers have had with understanding how to address the package). All returns must be shipped with at least Delivery Confirmation plus insurance. Items not returned following these instructions will be disregarded.

When we receive the package, our experts will inspect the returned item and verify the condition once we receive it. A return takes approximately seven to ten business days to process after we receive it. We will refund the full cost of the item EXCLUDING our shipping, handling, and insurance expenses in shipping the order to you ($9 minimum) and an additional 10% restocking/processing fee. Any shipping charges paid by the customer are not refundable. Insurance and handling costs are usually not included in shipping fees paid by the customer and will be assessed on returned items, even when originally shipped for free.

When only part of a multiple-item order is returned and a coupon was applied, the amount of the refund will be prorated.

Merchandise returned without our prior approval, or items returned from the post office as unclaimed or refused, will be disregarded.

Liability: By purchasing from this site, the customer agrees that our maximum liability is limited to a refund only.

 

OUR DAMAGE POLICY: We take every precaution to make sure that your item arrives safely. If by some chance there is a problem with shipping damage, you must contact us for instructions.

 

Catalog:We do not currently have a printed catalog.

PHONE CALLS: Due to a high volume of calls, we may not be able to answer your call, and we are currently unable to return calls. We can better serve you if you email us or place your order on our secure server. The toll-free line is for placing orders only; they cannot answer questions about merchandise or previously placed orders. Please email us with any questions you may have.

Phone orders must total more than $50 not including any shipping charges, so please keep this in mind before you call.

Offers: If you make an offer for an item (or items) and your offer is accepted, the item(s) must be paid for within 24 hours of acceptance. Items not paid for within that time will render the agreement void. This is also true for PayPal orders if the PayPal payment process has not been completed by the customer within 24 hours after the time the order was placed; customers normally complete the PayPal process within a few minutes of placing their order on this website. It is the customer's responsibility to pay; if payment is not made in a timely manner, we reserve the right to cancel the order and/or take the items off Hold.

Sale Prices: If the price ends with .87 or .17, then the cost of selling the item is at the point where we are not making any money on it. If we still do not sell it at that price, we eventually take it off sale and give the item(s) away. Therefore, when you see an item with that kind of sale price on our site, that is the lowest price we will put on it and it will not be listed very long.

About Our Southwestern Jewelry:
Our Native American jewelry is described as such; if we say it is Navajo- or Zuni-made, it made by a Navajo or Zuni artist. Our other Southwestern-style jewelry is made by non-Indian jewelers in sterling silver and hand-cut stones. These jewelers use genuine stones such as turquoise and mother of pearl; they may also use man-made stones such silicon opal and block spiny oyster shell. A major share of the value of these masterfully created items lies in the skill of the artist and the beauty of the artwork.

If you do not appreciate the finest inlay work, please do not buy from us! We have no interest in selling our inlay and micro-inlay items to those who are too near-sighted to see it or do not comprehend the supreme quality of the workmanship.

JEWELRY CARE: We recommend that you rinse your silver and silver-plated jewelry (without crystal or rhinestones) with clear water after each wearing. After rinsing, gently dry with a clean, soft cotton cloth or paper towel.

For cleaning and polishing sterling silver, we recommend Goddard's Mr. Metal tarnish remover for all metals. It can probably be found at your local supermarket, or you can order it on-line from Goddard's website (see our Links page). Or, we also recommend either Wright’s Silver Cream or Novus #2 Fine Scratch Remover. Novus is made for plastics, but we find it ideal for polishing metals and the surfaces of non-crystalline cabochon stones such as turquoise and malachite.

Novus #1 Plastic Clean and Shine is great for a final touch-up on metals and stones to give them a beautiful shine. Novus can be purchased on the internet if it is not available locally.

For removing tarnish and cleaner from crevices, we recommend using a small soft-bristled battery-operated toothbrush; light pressure is recommended. Such a toothbrush, used with Wright’s or Novus, can also restore a gleaming finish to silver when other methods fail.

Inlay bracelets cannot be adjusted for size.

SHIPPING NEWS:
DELIVERIES TO APARTMENTS AND BUSINESSES: Shipments to apartments and businesses usually require a signature upon delivery, depending on the value or physical size of the shipment.

Alaska and Hawaii: We do not currently ship via UPS to Alaska or Hawaii because of the prohibitive cost.

RUSH Delivery:

Please note that Rush Delivery is only available within the contintental United States, which does not include Alaska or Hawaii.

Orders that must be shipped the same day will incur a fee of $180.00, including the cost of Next-Day Delivery (our choice of shipper), and must be ordered before 10 am Eastern Time Monday through Friday. Orders placed after 10am will be attributed to the next business day for the purposes of Next-Day Delivery. Orders place after 10am Friday through 10am Monday morning will be counted as Monday morning.

You must also be prepared to answer email correspondence promptly; to delay answering our questions may prevent shipment.
