CELLULOID MANICURE SET ON STAND ~VERY OLD~ COMPLETE I have never seen anything like this. I would guess it dates to the 1920s to 1930s. The pictures speak for themselves. The only thing I am not certain if it goes with this set are the scissors hanging on the top right what I believe is to be a file hanging on the top left. However, what I believe to be a file matches the tray and the tray is celluloid on the back side. The sides of the mirror are celluloid. The tools show age but if I were as old as this, I would show age myself! It’s what I call in excellent vintage condition. The inside drawer is in excellent condition as you can see. As I said, I have never seen a manicure set like this. Each piece will be wrapped individually to ensure its safety. This will be packed with the utmost care as the stand is very fragile. For purposes of accuracy, it appears to me that one of the hooks on the right side holding the scissors might have been repaired at one time. This is exactly how I acquired it.

VINTAGE RED BOWL ~MARKED~ For sale I have a vintage Red Bowl. The bowl is marked but for the life of me I cannot read it. I have taken several magnifying glasses and still cannot make it out. For purposes of accuracy, it does have some crazing and there is a teeny tiny rough spot on the edge. Other than that, it’s in great condition with no breaks, cracks or repairs. 17 SAPPHIRE STONE 14K RING INSCRIBED T&C For sale I have a stunning ring. On the inside it is inscribed T&C, 14K. It has 17 Sapphires. On my ring sizer it comes out 6.5 in size. However, I wear a size 7 on my ring finger and this ring does fit my ring finger. It is in terrific condition. I have been unable to find out who T&C is but I will tell you, this ring is far prettier than any picture.

MOSAIC SHELL BY ROSALIE HILL MOTHER OF PEARL & TURQUOIS I am going to describe this Necklace the best I can. This is a Mosaic Shell Pendant by Rosalie Hill (it is signed on the back) with Tortoise, Mother-of-Pearl and turquoise, featured with Jo Marie original silver and trade beads (pinshell, Heishe, turquoise) and 14K gold beads. Heishe are the very small flat beads on the necklace. This Necklace is Cir 1970. It came from a Chicago jewelry designer, C.D. Peacock (who has been in business since. This is one outstanding necklace and highly collectible. This piece is typical of the jewelry made by the Santo Domingo Pueblo of New Mexico. Their jewelry designs are well-known for the use of turquoise in mosaic shell overlays. I obtained the opinions of several New Mexico galleries that specialize in Native American art and jewelry. I acquired the necklace from the Chicago area while I was at an antique show. If you have any questions, I will try to answer them the very best I can. I am hoping someone knows something about this necklace. With all that said, it’s in excellent condition. As I said it is signed on the back but there is also another name – all I can read is Bussie. I have a feeling this might be the person who originally purchased this necklace and signed for insurance reasons or for whatever other purposes.

The Pendant Shell measures 3 ¼ x 3 inches. The chain opened up measures 20 inches. The Necklace has some weight to it but it’s comfortable around the neck.

SPONGE WARE BLUE ON WHITE VINTAGE NESTING BOWLS For sale I have a set of Vintage Sponge Ware Nesting Bowls Blue on White. The smaller nesting bowl is marked but I cannot read it as it has worn off from age. There is minimal crazing but other than that they are in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks and no repairs have been made to them.

The Large Bowl is 12 ½ inches across the top. The Medium Bowl is 10 3/8 inches across the top and the Smaller Bowl is 9 ½ inches across the top.

WATT POTTERY NO 39 SPAGETTI BOWL For sale is an outstanding No. 39 Watt Pottery 4-Leaf Apple Pattern Spaghetti Bowl. It is marked on the bottom Oven Ware, No. 39, R.F. Spagetti. Watt Pottery introduced this popular Apple pattern in 1952. They made several variations. Watt Pottery produced this pattern as premiums for grocery and hardware stores. The R.-F denotes the Ravarino & Fresche Company as Watt Pottery produced wares for other companies.

It is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs made to it – it has the expected gentle age crackling to the glaze and a few spots from when it was molded which was very common to these older pieces. This is a wonderful bowl for any Watt Pottery Collector. What a great bowl to add to your collection!

POPEYE ~1935~ PIPE TOSS GAME – EXTREMELY RARE For sale is a hard to find 1935 Popeye Pipe Toss Game in its ORIGINAL BOX! This Popeye game is complete with its original Pipe and ALL 3 Rings. When most people acquire this, it’s missing pieces. The beautiful cardboard lithograph of Popeye stands a little over 10 inches tall. It was made by Rosebud Art Company from 1935 to 1937. The game is dated 1935 by King Features Syndicate. The Rosebud Art Company started making toys in 1923. They began manufacturing one of the most popular of all Popeye toys, the Pipe Toss Game No. 17 in 1935. There were 2 versions of this toy, one with a wood pipe and one without. The version I am offering for sale is with the wood pipe and it was by far the best seller! This is a very RARE vintage piece so don’t let it pass you up!

EARLY 1900 PICNIC SET IN ITS CASE For sale I have an early 1900 Picnic Set. I’ve never seen one like this. There are 6 Forks, 3 Knives and they are marked Stainless Steel, there are 5 spoons, there is a Salt and Pepper, there is a very old bottle/cork screw opener that is marked North and Judd, New Britain, CT, Made in U.S.A., there are 6 plates, 4 cups, 2 Glasses, there is a Jar, there are 2 Thermos, there is a bigger Thermos to keep hot food/liquid in and there is a big lunch box. All pieces are in good condition for its age. The suite case this set is in is worn and that’s due from age and probably because it has traveled. There is a small split on the back side of the suite case on the right side. It needs a good home to go to that would appreciate this. ANTIQUE PHOTO ALBUM W/BRASS ON STAND EARLY 1900 For sale I have an outstanding Antique Photo Album on a Stand. The photo album sits on the stand. There is a drawer connected to the stand. The album is done in velvet and brass. The feet to the stand are brass. I’m not 100 percent certain if the stand itself is brass and I don’t want to scratch it up to find out. The front middle is done in a heart shape with a mirror. I would guess this album dates to the very early 1900s. There are no photos in the album. The album paper inserts are in good to fair condition. I believe I counted a total of 6 inserts where the paper is torn. You can replace those inserts or you can leave it original. The velvet is in very good condition for its age. I have been in this business a long time and I’ve never seen an album quite like this! It stands about 12 inches tall on the stand. The photo album itself measures 9 x 11 ¾ inches

ESH-TAH-HUM-LEAH OR THE OLD SLEEPY EYE PICTURE For sale I have a very old picture of Sleepy Eye. On the bottom of the picture it states Esh-Tah-Hum-Leah or the Sleepy Eye, A Sioux Chief. I removed the picture very carefully from the frame to see if there were any other markings and there are none. I didn’t want to remove the picture again for a picture because the picture is very old and the paper is not strong like it once was. It is in a standard walnut frame. This is how I acquired it. What a great item to add to your collection.
