Waterford Crystal Alana Table Lamp Waterford Crystal Alana Table Lamp. Waterford is long known and respected as one of the leading makers of quality crystal. Alana was introduced in 1952, it features a diamond shape cross cut pattern. This lamp is a very hard to find size, it is one of the earlier pieces, it is 8 1/2 inches tall, the widest part of the lamp is about 4 inches across, the base is made of solid brass. It is in excellent condition, top of the brass under the bulb area has a bit of patina, have not attempted to clean it, not at all noticeable. It signed on the side with Waterford, shade is a replacement and not the original, it is a quality fabric shade that is in excellent condition.
