Vintage Corning Ware Corelle White Centura Custard or Pudding Cup Set Vintage Corning Ware Corelle White Centura Custard or Pudding Cups, Set of Six. This line was made in 1960 and is solid white, no pattern on it. These cups are fairly hard to find, they are thinner then the ramkin style cups made by Corning and 6 ounces. The nice thing about the Centura Custard cups (some are marked as Pyroceram Tableware) is that they fit perfectly on the Centura saucers, just like a tea/coffee cup would. This makes serving a little more elegant.

Click for more detail...

ts6734

Westmoreland Glass Hobnail Milk Glass Tall Candle Holders Vintage Westmoreland Glass Hobnail Milk Glass Tall Candle Holders. This pair of mid century milk glass candle holders were made between 1950 and 1960, Westmoreland began making this pattern in 1952. Westmoreland Glass was established in 1889 and the first piece of glass was produced in 1890.
A few years later, the plant was purchased by two brothers, Charles H. and George West, from A. J. Stevenson and the Specialty Glass Company. Financial support was provided by Ira A. Brainard. Westmoreland Specialty Company changed hands again when in 1920 tension between brothers arose and George West sold his interest to Charles West and Ira Brainard. In 1923 the name was changed to Westmoreland Glass Company.

In 1981 ownership of Westmoreland was purchased by Dave Grossman, according to the National Westmoreland Glass Collectors Club. On May 21, 1984, the Westmoreland Glass Company closed its doors just a few years shy of its 100 year anniversary.

These candle holders are 5 1/4" tall and 4 1/2" across the base. One is in excellent condition, the other has a small chip under the lip of the candle insert, and a tight hairline on the top of the bottom, both of these spots are not noticeable and will not affect use. Please see our other listings for additional pieces of vintage Westmoreland and other pieces of milk glass.

Click for more detail...

ts6733

Vintage California Music Box Company Van Gogh Sunflowers Jewelry Box Vintage California Music Box Company Van Gogh Sunflowers Jewelry Box. A lovely piece! Quality lacquered wood box with a copy of Van Gogh's Sunflowers Painting. It was made by the San Francisco Music Box company with an estimated date of early 1980's. I did a lot of research to find out about this piece and could not find any of these boxes available so am assuming it is one of the harder to find boxes. The inside is lined in black and has a place for rings, (three rows of the insert holders) along with four separate sections for other jewelry.

It is 8 3/4" long by 7" wide and 3" tall, it plays a classical music tune but I don't know the name. Wind up on the back and when the lid is lifted it plays. It is in excellent condition, no damage, very slight signs of use consistent with age. Great addition to a music box collection or Van Gogh fan, or simply a beautiful addition to your dresser to hold jewelry!

ts6732

Vintage Enid Collins By The Roadside Handbag or Purse 1960s Vintage Enid Collins By The Roadside Handbag or Purse. Maker and designer Enid Collins and her husband started Collins of Texas after WWII in the Hill Country of Texas.

This handbag dates to the 1950's to 1960's, it has a beautiful pattern of various colored "jewels" that form flowers growing around a mailbox, also has two gold butterflies and several gold flowers. The body of the bag is a beige burlap with brown vinyl trim and handle. Closure and rings are brass tone. The inside is a dark brown vinyl, it has two side pockets inside, one zippered and one that is not, there is also a side pocket of the outside back of the bag.

It is 10 1/2" across long, 4 1/4" wide at the bottom and 10" tall (not including handle). Strap length is about 27", so about 14" when folded in two to carry. It is in excellent condition, no missing jewels, so signs of use, appears to have not been used. It does have a couple of very small, and extremely light marks on the bottom that appear to either being from stored on a shelf or related age. They are so light that I could not get the camera to pick them, so just mentioning this for the sake accuracy. Wonderful addition to your collection!

ts6731

Vintage Couroc of California Siamese Cat and Butterfly Tray Vintage Couroc of California Siamese Cat and Butterfly Tray, this piece is one of the harder to find Couroc pieces. The cat's body is inlaid wood and it has blue eyes and a blue collar, gold whiskers. The butterfly is a gold color inlay.

Couroc of California pieces were the wedding and shower present of choice from 1950's to the 1980's. Couroc was located in Monterey, California and produced many different types and shapes of trays, boxes, ashtrays and glass barware.

The company was founded by Guthrie Courvoisier, owner of Courvoisier Galleries in San Francisco in 1948, Courvoisier worked for Disney prior to founding his company. While working for Disney he designed the first commercially available animation cels, these cels are still known as Courvoisier Cels. His wife, Moira Wallace was a designer and was involved in the designing and manufacturing of the Couroc designs, on rare occasions she personally signed her work.

Couroc employed many skilled artisans during the early years, the artists carefully arranged bits and pieces of common metal items such as springs, screws, glitter, safety pins and paper clips, shells, corral, woods and coins into a special material called black satin black phenolic. This material is resistant to alcohol and boiling water, but is not dishwasher safe. Couroc's founder died in the 1970's and the company was sold several times before ceasing production in 1990.

This tray is 10 3/4" across and is in very good to excellent condition, does have some slight signs of use, also has the original label on the back. Please see our other listings for additional Couroc items.

This is a hard to find piece of Couroc, it was specially for the Tacoma Country and Golf Club for member and guests that played in the 1984 tournament.
