HEAVY OLD SILVER NATIVE AMERICAN HOPI? MONEY CLIP Measures aprx 1 3/4" by 3/4" and weighs a solid 20 grams. unmarked but appears to be sterling silver. Lovely patina. Looks like a Hopi design to me but I welcome information by the experts. Excellent money clip!  

LOVELY MOTHER of PEARL TURQUOISE MOSAIC FLOWER PENDANT! Aprx 1" long, mother of pearl with turquoise mosaic inlay. Stamped SUNBURST STERLING, either Mexican or American Indian, excellent condition, no damage or repair.  

VINTAGE MEXICAN SILVER LEAF PATTERN HAIR BARRETTE Apprx 2" long, lovely tripel leaf pattern, well detailed, stamped "MEXICO STERLING" and it has the initials "H.E." inside. Sweet barette (barrette). Also it has an eagle stamp with the number "23" inside. Warm unpolished patina, excellent vintage condition.  

NICE VINTAGE MEXICAN SILVER FILIGREE SOMBRERO BROOCH Interesting souvenir brooch from Mexico, about 2" tall and 1 3/4" wide, nice antique piece, silver wire filigree, hand worked, 2 part construction. Comprised of a little marked "MEXICO" barpin brooch with a dangling figural 3 dimensional sombrero Mexican hat with amazing detail.

Brooch has a "C" clasp, probably dates to the 1930s-40s or een earlier. Sold unpolished, lovely patina. Very good vintage condition.  

NICE VINTAGE MEXICAN SODALITE INLAY RETRO AZTEC BROOCH From a recent estate purchase comes this distinctive antique mid century Mexican silver signed brooch from the 1950s or so. Measuring about 2" in diameter, this round pin is signed with several sought after hallmarks. It is stamped "MEXICO" and "TAXCO MEXICO 925". It also has intials that are difficult to discern... "CPR"? Plus there is an EAGLE mark with a "3" in it sure.

The brooch is a circle shape with brass overlay in an Aztec inspired zig zag retro geometric design over the sterling silver. Inlaid around the brass is a rich blue that appears to be sodalite with perhaps a little turquoise, azurite, or malachite mixed in. I am unsure, but it looks to be predominantly a lapis blue. It's truly a striking piece!

In excellent condition, the brooch is free of damage or repair and is functional and secure. It has a nice safety clasp and would be a great compliment to any collection of tribal, Southwestern, South American or Mexican jewelry!  

VINTAGE MEXICAN STERLING SILVER ABALONE DONKEY BROOCH Apprx 1 1/4" wide, stamped Mexican sterling silver figural donkey or burro brooch, initials PVC, abalone inlay, very good condition.  

UNUSUAL SOUTH AMERICAN STERLING BIRD MOTIF BROOCH Circa early to mid 1900s, apprx 1 3/4" tall, stamped on the back with initials, but I cannot decipher them. Superb handmade raised bird like design, "C" clasp, a bit rustic but in good as found vintage condition, sold unpolished, lovely.  

VINTAGE MEXICAN SILVER 3D SOMBRERO HAT BROOCH Circa 1940s-50s, approx 2 1/8" diameter, stamped 800 silver, slightly less silver content than sterling, great 3 dimensional detail, realistic figural hat, sold as found, unpolished, has little dangle charms, missing 3 charms but could be replaced if desired. Priced accordingly, fun piece! good vintage condition.  

SUPERB VINTAGE MEXICAN STERLING SILVER GREEN TURQUOISE PENDANT Approx. 1 1/2" tall (includes bale) by 3/4" wide, circa 1960s-80s Mexican sterling silver Mexico pendant for necklace, green turquoise, smooth oval cabachon, genuine stone, signed, great condition.  

UNIQUE VINTAGE STERLING DRIED FLOWERS MEXICAN SILVER BRACELET About 8" long, stamped from Mexico, sterling silver, red background with what looks like real dried flowers under glass. Very pretty, excellent condition.  

SUPERB VINTAGE SILVER AZTEC MAYAN CALENDAR ASHTRAY DISH Heavy weight (a couple of ounces), vintage mid century 900 silver (nearly sterling silver) ashtray or dish. Approx. 4 1/4" diameter, scalloped border, beautiful pressed design of what appears to be an Aztec sun dial calendar.

UNUSUAL VINTAGE SILVER ALPACA SMOKEY QUARTZ DANGLE EARRINGS Screw backs, circa mid 1900s, from my collection, appears to be smokey quartz round faceted hand set stones in each earring, screw backs, dangles, one dangle comes off and needs a little TLC from a jeweler, about 1.25" long, stamped alpaca instead of sterling silver, looks sterling, though, nice condition overall, sold as found, unpolished, as is, priced accordingly.  

VINTAGE 950 STERLING PERUVIAN INCAN TUMI MONEY CLIP Aprx 2" by 1", stamped sterling, puchased in Mexico several years ago. Solid construction, weighs 15 grams, lovely detail.

The Tumi is a sacrificial ceremonial knife distinctly characterised by a semi-circular blade, made of either bronze, copper, gold-alloy, or silver alloy used by some Inca and pre-Inca cultures in the Peruvian Coastal Region. In Andean mythology, the Moche, Chimu and Incas were descendants of the Sun, and had to be worshipped annually with an extravagant celebration. The festival took place at the end of the potato and maize harvest in order to thank the Sun for the abundant crops or to ask for better crops during the next season. During this important religious ceremony, the High Priest would sacrifice a completely black or white llama. Using a tumi, he would open the animal's chest and with his hands pull out its throbbing heart, lungs and viscera, so that observing those elements he could foretell the future. Later, the animal and its parts were completely incinerated.

In Peru, to hang a tumi on a wall means good luck. The tumi is the national symbol of Peru and has become a symbol used in the Peruvian tourism publicity.  

UNUSUAL MEXICAN SILVER FIGURAL BROOCH MAN w SON Very cool old pin or brooch. Marked Made in Mexico, apprx 3" by 1 3/8', appears to be sterling silver though no silver mark. Circa 1940s-50s.

Whimsical and fun! Brooch depicts a Mexican man in profile with a smaller version walking behind him. Good vintage condition.  

FUN VINTAGE MEXICAN STERLING SILVER ENAMEL COW BROOCH Circa 1960s-70s, stamped sterling silver TV-94 MEXICO 925 figural cow brooch. Apprx 2 3/8" wide by 1 1/2" high, can be worn as a pendant, cool enamelled spots and a brass or copper cow bell, sold unpolished, solid heavy construction, good vintage condition.  

VINTAGE MEXICAN SILVER CARVED ABALONE MASK BRACELET Apprx 7" by 1 3/8" wide circa 1940s-50s vintage stamped artist made Mexican sterling silver and abalone bracelet. Artist initials appear to be TMB.

Bracelet is handmade, nice craftsmanship, some wear, minmal dings but nothing detracting, sold unpolished, good vintage condition, closes securely.
