British Railroad Lantern Vintage British railroad lantern is tin with original black paint. A door opens on the side of the frame to access the brass burner which holds the fuel and has a single cotton wick. The side panel has the letters BR(E) embossed on the surface. The condition is very good with no chips or cracks in the front glass panel and good paint coverage on the body. The burner has the words vaporite patent 583326. Measures 8 inches to the top of the casing.

The BR(E) stands for British Rail - Eastern Region. All railway (railroad)property, including clocks, chairs,tables, etc., would have borne the BR mark plus the regional letter, E, SE, and so on.

Tin Candle Lamp Folding Front Panel Unusual vintage candle lamp with hinged folding door. Great patina to finish. Top has imprint CCB British Made. The candle casing in the middle has an adjustable footing that can be raised and lowered as shown in photos. Measures 5.5 inches high at it's lowest point and 9 inches high when fully extended.

Pair of Vintage Glass Shade Boudoir Lamp Matched pair of frosted glass shade bedroom / boudoir lamps on brass base. They stand 12 inches high and give off a soft glow. Condition is good with no chips or cracks to the crystal glass shades but some pitting of the brass. The brass bottoms are nicely patterned with a ring of flowers and leaves. Good solid weight to the lamp. Both in working order. Note the cords are different colors and one is missing the knob on the on /off switch. See photo. Brass Push Up Finger Candle Stick Holder Vintage Brass Push Up Finger Candle Stick Holder has nice deep basin. Patina of brass is good but there is some roughness and misshape around the top of the candle stick holder. measures 5 inches tall and 6.75 inches across the base. There is a push up mechanism for raising the canle when it melts.

Vintage Opaque Glass Lamp Shade This elegant depression glass shade would fit a 3 prong lamp shade or could be hung from the ceiling with chains through the 3 holes. It is a nice opaque slag like ivory color with decorative carved pattern. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It measures 9 inches in diameter and has a height of 5.5 inches.

Pair of Antique Fish Oil Lamps with Reflector This is a matched set of early fish oil lamps with metal mirrored reflectors. Nice old chimney on each is in excellent condition. The Burners have some corrosion on the metal but still in good shape considering their age. Reflectors are black metal with mirrored area which is showing some age wear on the edges. The fish oil lamps measure as follows:
glass shade 8" tall. Base 5" tall to top of burner. 8 1/4" to top of reflector. From bottom to top of shade 12 inches. Diameter of base is 3".

Early Brass Grease Lamp This example is a European made grease lamp. It is made of brass and is in excellent condition. It measures 6 inches to the top of the frame and is 4.5 inches square. There is a flat chain link for hanging it. Price reduced from $70

Kerosene BAT Emergency Lantern This old metal lamp has black paint with contrasting white on the lense holders. There are 3 red red globe lenses in the lamp which are in excellent condition. The paint appears to be original and has signs of age but nothing more than normal wear. It has a hooked handle for hanging. There is a BAT brand with a picture of bat on the top front. Model number appears to be BS 3143. I am told this is a British-type railroad lantern usually hung on the back end of a train or a backward moving engine. The back door opens to reveal the kerosene holder and wick. It also has the Bat mark with model 3143. This is a truly unique piece and a must have for your collection.
