WR2

Rare 1st Edition 2nd Nazi Nurnberg Trials Very Very rare, 1st edition, original, bound, single sided, hand typed, mimeographed transcripts of the 2nd Nurmberg trials, two volume set. These were the 2nd tier Nazi officers to be tried, the most famous being Ernst Von Weizsaecker. Other include Gustav Adolph, Von, Moyland, Keppler, Bohle, Woerman, RitterErdsmandorf, Veesenmayer, Dietrich, etc, etc. These we give exclusively to the prosecutors & judges.
See> /wiki/Ernst_von_Weizs%C3%A4cker
These came from the family of the head prosecutor, Thomas J. Whalon, whose name is embossed on the spine, & a note from his nephew & last surviving member of the Whalon family. A REAL museum piece. I also have pictures from the trial being sold separately.

Ernst Von Weizsäcker (May 25, 1882 – August 4, 1951) was a German diplomat and politician. He served as Secretary of State at the Foreign Office from 1938 to 1943, and as German Ambassador to the Holy See from 1943 to 1945. He was a member of the prominent Weizsäcker family, and the father of German President Richard von Weizsäcker and physicist and philosopher Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker.

Weizsäcker was arrested on July 25, 1947, in Nuremberg in connection with the Ministries Trial, also known as the Wilhelmstrasse Trial, after the location of the German Foreign Office in Berlin. These American military tribunal started before and finished during the Berlin blockade confrontation with the Soviets and proceeded without participation of the USSR; they were also much milder in conduct and outcome than the first series of war crimes trials in 1946. No European judges were involved in the trial, which was very controversial because Weizsäcker was considered by many to be closely associated with the anti-Nazi resistance and as a moderate force at the Foreign Office during the war; Winston Churchill called his trial a "deadly error.".[22]

WR3

WWII P47 Thunderbolt Air Force Crash Relics Great museum pieces for the collector of WWII memorabilia. Prop blade and nosecone for a downed P47 Thunderbolt. This one went down in 1943 or 1944, crashed into Union Lake, Millville NJ. Recovered in 1978 by a local diver. Story was that the pilot lived. In the 1940's, the Millville airport was used to train pilots. There were 200 crashes, 12 fatalities, 2 planes never recovered. This is one of them. Due to the secrecy of this effort, very few crashes were published. Google it, it's a fascinating read. This one was the upgraded version, the "Air Grabber" It had the ability to adjust the angle of the propeller blades so they could gain altitude quicker, & dive quicker. This is the plane that defeated the Germans. Includes the propellor blase & nosecone.

Fascinating WWII Nazi / US Army Artifact
Here is a captured Nazi artifact that I wish could talk. It's a full Nazi belt with the 'GOTT MIT UNS' buckle, (God With Us) but hanging from it is an American issue dagger. (W Hanging from that dagger is a military shoelace tied in 8 or 9 knots. This was an American soldier custom to mark their kills. Etched into the leather sheath is 5-8480. (No marks) Buckle is stamped inside, N&H 1940. A fascinating artifact to ponder.

Interestingly, the pin appears to be German made. Has the following inscribed, Schlgzdschrb & FLSb on the other side?? It's years before our entry into WWI, so the possibility of German made firing cap is there. Probably used as a planter.

WR12

WWI Veterans 314th Infantry Reg Pres' Hammer 10" Very high quality wooden judges hammer, given to Martin J. Cunniff, for his faithful service as President of the veterans organization, 1937, 38, & 39. These men were serious hero's. Much is written on the web & there is a memorial cabin at Fort Meade Maryland.
Organized as part of the 79th Division A.E.F. (American Expeditionary Force) - World War I The United States in World War I, the men of the 314th were trained at Camp Meade (later renamed Fort George G. Meade in 1929), Maryland. Arriving at the camp in September, 1917, the unit completed training and sailed to France aboard the USS Leviathan in July, 1918. Upon arrival at Brest, France, they continued training until September 1918, then took part in the Meuse Argonne Offensive. Capturing the town of Malancourt on September 26, 1918, they assisted the 313th Infantry on the following day in the capture of the town of Montfaucon-d'Argonne. Montfaucon was a heavily defended area and observation post of the German army. Of the four Infantry regiments of the 79th Division involved in the offensive, the 314th was hardest-hit. It took several days to account for all the missing personnel and bring the regiment up 50 percent manning.

The 79th Division was relieved on September 30 and transferred to the Troyon sector. While there, they assumed a variety of duties, including holding the front. They shared the trenches with the 313th, 315th, and 316th Infantry Regiments. During this time, they were harassed with mustard gas, shelling, and enemy trench and air raids but held the line.

At the end of October, the 79th Division was again ordered to move to participate in the third phase of the Meuse Argonne Offensive. On November 1, 1918, the 314th advanced. By November 9, they captured the towns of Crepion, Waville, and Moirey. The following day the unit captured Buisson Chaumont, Hill 328. On November 11, the 314th advanced against Cote de Romagne and stopped firing at 11 a.m., at the time of the Armistice. By the end day, the 314th had made the greatest advance into German lines east of the Meuse River.

The regiment continued training, passed a review by General Pershing, and shipped home on May 15, 1919, aboard the USS Princess Matoika. Arriving at Hoboken, New Jersey on May 26, 1919, they were discharged from service at Camp Dix, New Jersey.

WR16

Prewar American Anti-Semetic Literature Original 1922 issue of Henry Fords, "Aspects of Jewish Power in the United States," volume IV, by the Dearborn Publishing Co. Includes the original promotional insert for the Dearborn Independent.
From Wikipedia:
The International Jew is a four volume set of booklets or pamphlets originally published and distributed in the early 1920s by Henry Ford, an American industrialist and automobile manufacturer.

It is to be distinguished from The International Jew: The World's Problem which was the headline in The Dearborn Independent and is the name of a collection of articles serialized in The Dearborn Independent, a newspaper owned by Ford. It is also to be distinguished from the title of the first volume of the series, namely, The International Jew, The World's Foremost Problem (note the absence or presence of the word "Foremost" as the distinguishing mark in the subtitle). It is a compilation consisting of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion as the main and most important source.[1]

At the Nuremberg Trials, Baldur von Schirach mentioned that The International Jew made a deep impression on him and his friends in their youth and influenced them in becoming antisemitic. He said: "... we saw in Henry Ford the representative of success, also the exponent of a progressive social policy. In the poverty-stricken and wretched Germany of the time, youth looked toward America, and apart from the great benefactor, Herbert Hoover, it was Henry Ford who to us represented America."[2] In 1922, the New York Times reported that Adolf Hitler's office contained a large picture of Ford.[3] A well-thumbed copy of the International Jew was found in his library.[4]
A libel lawsuit, brought by San Francisco lawyer and Jewish farm cooperative organizer Aaron Sapiro in response to antisemitic remarks, led Ford to close the Independent in December 1927. News reports at the time quoted him as being shocked by the content and having been unaware of its nature. During the trial, the editor of Ford's "Own Page", William John Cameron, testified that Ford had nothing to do with the editorials even though they were under his byline. Cameron testified at the libel trial that he never discussed the content of the pages or sent them to Ford for his approval.[6]

Investigative journalist Max Wallace noted that "whatever credibility this absurd claim may have had was soon undermined when James M. Miller, a former Dearborn Independent employee, swore under oath that Ford had told him he intended to expose Sapiro.[7] According to Michael Barkun, "That Cameron would have continued to publish such controversial material without Ford's explicit instructions seemed unthinkable to those who knew both men. Mrs. Stanley Ruddiman, a Ford family intimate, remarked that "I don't think Mr. Cameron ever wrote anything for publication without Mr. Ford's approval".[8]
