Beautiful STANFORD Art Pottery ASHTRAY Sebring, Ohio Textured Black / White This gorgeous piece of heavy art pottery was made by Stanford Pottery which was operating in Sebring, Ohio from 1945-1961. It measures 10" long x 7" wide, with 4 "ash" compartments and one compartment in the center for cigarettes. If you don't smoke, it would make a great mint dish!

It is black, with white textured drizzles and gold paint accents. In mint condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Detailed Peasant Man & Woman Porcelain Busts This pair of figurine busts of a peasant man with pipe (looks like a fisherman to me) and his wife are both highly detailed, and marked "Gino Hand Painted 3067". I have been told that this is the mark of one of the Capodimonte factories. Both busts have no broken pieces or repairs, although the woman has lost a few tiny flecks of her flesh colored paint on her forehead, chin, and above her lip. The detail and realism of each piece is incredible, and they would look lovely in your collection! Both measure approximately 5" to 5 1/2" tall. 1950s Ceramic Tile, Woman with Poodle This 1950s Ceramic Tile features a stylish-dressed woman walking her poodle. The tile measures approximately 4 5/16" x 4 5/16" and is in Very Good condition with only a tiny chip on the center left edge, and a small hairline crack at the top center.

HUMPTY DUMPTY Ceramic Bank CALIFORNIA Pottery This heavy ceramic Humpty Dumpty bank appears to be made by one of the California pottery companies of the 1940s, possibly California Cleminsons. It has a coin slot on it's back, and a very small hole on the bottom, probably better for use as a display piece rather than an actual coin bank. The original stopper is missing. Humpty measures approx. 4" tall.

1938 DeCo HALL WATER SERVER Delphinium Blue Phoenix Design WESTINGHOUSE Made in 1938 by Hall, this neat and unusual deco styled ceramic water server was a giveaway from Westinghouse with the purchase of their refrigerator. It is in Hall's beautiful "Delphinium Blue" color. It appears in my photos like a light sky blue, but it is more of a slate blue or denim color in person. It is in beautiful condition, with one tiny factory chip which is UNDER THE GLAZE on the corner near the handle. (you can see the tiny white speck in my first photo).

Not only does it make a wonderful water server, but it can also be used as a teapot. It is marked on the bottom "Made Exclusively for Westinghouse By the Hall China Co." It measures approx. 10" long x 5" wide x 4 1/2" tall.

Czech Bird FLOWER FROG Vase Ceramic Czechoslovakia This special ceramic flower frog vase is unusual because the openings are on the side of the piece instead of on the top. It is in nice condition - no chips or cracks. Tiny bit of paint loss and rough glaze spots, as is usual with these Czech pieces. See photos for condition. Measures 5 3/8" x 4 1/2"

BRUSH Pink Ceramic Planter This Brush pink footed planter with drizzled white accents, has a wavy edge and measures 8" x 4 1/4" x 4" high. There is an impressed mark on the bottom which reads "811 Brush USA." It is in near mint condition, with no chips or damage.

Ceramic Arts Studio POLISH GIRL Figurine California Pottery This heavy, quality, vintage piece was made by Ceramic Arts Studio of California (although not marked). It measures approx. 6" tall, and is free from any damage or repairs. There were many color variations for this Polish Girl figurine - this particular example is decorated with mainly country blue, dusty rose, and yellow, with floral decorations. Very pretty!

The Story on the Willow Plate by Leslie Thomas (1940, 1st Edition, 47 pages, hardcover with dustjacket). This Rare book tells all about the fascinating and romantic legends behind the Chinese pictures on the world-famous blue and white Willow china. The book is filled with wonderful illustrations by the author. This book measures approx. 6 7/8" x 8" and was published by William Morrow and Company of New York. Condition: Good, the dustjacket has light wear and a few small tears along the edges. The pages are in Near Mint condition.

Crooksville RAGGEDY ANN and ANDY WARE Plate and Cup Ceramic Johnny GRUELLE This little child's ceramic 9" dinner plate and cup / mug set was made in 1941 by Crooksville. It is part of the Raggedy Ann and Andy Ware line. Based on the much beloved Johnny Gruelle characters, it would be a cherished gift for the new mother who appreciates vintage items.

The transfers are a little faded, and the gold paint trim on the rims are a bit worn, (see photos) but still a sweet collectible for the price. In nice condition, with no cracks.

Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Hershey's Adv. Premium Candy Dish
This Hershey's candy dish is based on the Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas story. It was released in 2000 as a mail-in only advertising premium in conjunction with the release of the Universal Studios film starring Jim Carrey. The candy dish measures approx. 7 1/4" high x 6" wide and was manufactured exclusively by Idea Planet, Inc. (Made in China).

The dish features the Grinch and his dog sledding down the mountain into Whoville. The Whoville buildings include Farfingles, a bank (with E Pluribus Whonum on the marquee), and the Whoville Post Office. At the center of the dish is the Hershey's chocolate logo. This candy dish has now become very Rare. It is in MINT condition, never used, and is in the original shippping box.
