Jewelry Box Baret Ware England Oriental Offering this lovely vintage metal jewelry box made by Baret Ware England, #194, bears their label on bottom and on inside cloth. Outside it has this wonderful dome shape like an old trunk. Covered with raised detailed oriental scenes. Gold metal trim on hinged lid, sets on four brass feet. Inside lid has a nice mirror; box area is lined in a coral pink satin. Box measures 5 3/4 x 4 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches tall. Good++ condition, no cracks or chips; minimal wear on gold trim, hinges and clasp are secure, circa 1930-40's. A lovely old storage / jewelry box for your home!
 

Mele Jewelry Box Leatherette Wooden Key This is a very nice leatherette covered, hardwood hinged jewelry box made in the U.S.A. by "MELE" and so marked on the paper the working key for the lock is attached to. It measures 12.5" x 8" x 3.45" tall. This model has an maroon padded lined interior with various separated section, 2 large sections in the bottom (one black stain noted on the divider), 3 sections in the lower mid-tray, and 6 sections on the upper mid-tray otherwise in very nice shape inside. The leatherette is an off-white, with gold decoration, some minor wear noted, a few edge rubs and a few minor small dings, otherwise in great shape. All the brass hardware works great, no damage, good latch, good working key comes with this one. A very solid, nicely made jewelry chest!

Alligator Skin Jewerly Box Chest w/Drawers This is a nice used, vintage jewelry chest with storage in the hinged lift top area, plus 3 drawers also. It is nicely made with all exterior and some interior covered in faux alligator skin. The covering is a nice quality, only a few tiny rubs, some minor corner/edge wear, but looks very nice, was well cared for over the years. The box is 11" x 6" x 6". The exterior of the box frame that the covering is over is wood, about 1/4" thick, so it is plenty sturdy. The drawer backs are made of a thinker material, but the draw faces are wood also. All the hardwood is in good working order, all the drawer pulls, hinges, lid catch etc. very good, well attached. There are lots of areas for small items like earrings on the top section, and plenty of place in the drawers for necklaces, broaches and larger item like that. The chest has no maker's name on it, but we estimate it was made in the 50's or 60's era. A nice clean vintage chest with nice interior sections and clean felt covering! It is hard to find anything like it these days. Would make a nice gift also!

It measures 11" x 8" x 3.4" tall. This model has an maroon padded lined interior with various separated section, 3 large sections in the bottom, 10 sections in the mid-tray, and a metal necklace holder on the top section, with a pouch like area below for the necklaces to rest inside. The leatherette is an off-white, with gold decoration, some minor wear noted, a few edge rubs and a few minor small stains, otherwise in great shape. All the brass hardware works great, no damage, good latch, no key with this one. A very solid, nicely made jewelry chest!
