Nice old twisted wire cranberry beads do not need a clasp, yet can easily be worn double as they measure a good 48 inches. Irregularity of beads suggest they are hand-blown. Light weight wire has oxidized some and there is one funny twist where a bead may have been lost. There is also one spot where 2 beads are close together, perhaps where the necklace was joined and ends buried but it is a genuine Granny necklace and lovely.

Don't know when this Egyptian Revival pin was revived - probably '30's. Measures 1 1/2 across top, almost 3 inches in length. Glass beads are blue with gold flecks. C clasp. Very good condition.

Pretty red necklace looks like the perfect thing for the holidays. Brass box chain and medallions, red beads and fancy box clasp add up to a bit over 14 inches so it will fall at the collarbone on the average neck. Teardrop rhinestones are replacements. Very good condition. Could be lengthened.

This big chunk of glass or stone looks like it could have been a Victorian button but the cabuchon top is pointed and faceted underneath - hard to make into a button. Frilly setting is a white metal that doesn't polish to shine. C clasp. Glass has only microscopic dings and sparkles beautifully.

Nothing shy about this ring! The oval topaz, or topaz cut glass is 3/4 inches long and set in to lots of really unique prongs - kind of Y shaped and more visable on top. Filigree side pieces are layered with stone and set atop a antique goldfilled ring is 6 1/2. However, it can be adjusted at least a half size because it has a slide structure on underside. (lots classier that Avon!) Inside the ring, directly under the stone is a large X - beats me.
Antique finish is in great condition and the big stone has no scratches.

This is an unusual pin - it must be intended to cross over a tie or scarf with a pin on each side - 2 inches across. One side swivels for adjusting.

Fancy little pendant on 26 inch chain measures 1 1/4 inches turned at a 90 degree angle and bezelset with a very nice (and unscratched) openback blue stone. It looks like it once had a silver coat but was then gilded in gold. Excellent condition.

This gorgeous antique pin has had me guessing for months. Is it celluloid? Ivory? Final decision: the lines are too regular to be ivory. The brass overlay is cast and very high quality work. 2 x 1 1/8 inches, C clasp.

This striking pin is just a bit over 1 inch square but the rainbow colored stones make a much bigger statement. I don't know much about the prongset,foilback stones but I guess Austrian? I am sure that the colorful marbling and swirls go all the way through the glass. I also know that it is old: see back view with antique metal and safety pin clasp.

Antique pin of grapes, vines and leaves with small bezel set topaz stones sprinked about. It is gold-filled, of course, and the center cluster of grapes is composed of white simulated pearls which have replaced the really scruffy ones it came with (no they do not have holes drilled in them). The back has a safety clasp so I suspect this is an early 20th century reproduction of a Victorian style. 2 x 1 1/4 inches, very good condition.

Marked only Italy, this beautiful necklace appears to be sterling with a gold wash. Beautiful oval carnelian is featured in the pendant, surrounded by filigree, decorative rope and little posies. Chain alternates filigree balls and textured links with large carnelian beads. Measures 14 inches with 1 1/2 pendant. Very good condition though gold wash shows some wear. Signed: Italy.

Unusual fan-shaped antique silver filigree pin has more than a dozen coral beads dangling from bottom (well, maybe they are red jade). safety clasp but old, very good condition. No marks but I guess northern European.

I have been assured that this ethnic looking necklace is not Scandanavian - clasp is too fancy. The 3 strands are some kind of silver or nickel silver - not marked. Came from a very old lady who said it was her mother's only piece of jewelry. Got any ideas? Please share.

Beautiful lady seems to be an combination of transfer and handpainting. Measures 2 x 1/12 and delicate Limoge porcelain is set in an antique gold finish frame. Clasp is the elongated C form. Excellent conditon - no wear that I can see. I suspect this was any early craft project - I have seen the lady before but in a different setting.
