Aynsley pale green with roses cup & saucer

Porcelain. England. c. 1950s. Pale green, fades to white half-way down. Transfer of roses & green leaves, with touches of blue & gray. Interior of cup is white with a five rose &leaf transfer on one side. Saucer is scalloped. Lightly relief molded. Gilt edged & gilt band at foot of cup. Cup handle is white with gilt lining and gilt thumb rest. Marked: A crown with "AYNSLEY" in a banner underneath. "EST." "1775" over banner and separated by the crown. "ENGLAND" "BONE CHINA" "31" underneath. Also, cup has "5342/2 (or L) F" hand painted in gold over glaze. CONDITION: Excellent (pings)

Aynsley pink & yellow demi-tasse cup & saucer

Porcelain. England. c. 1887. Fluted & scalloped. The yellow panels are bordered by gilt. Gilt edged with a gilt design border on both cup & saucer and on interior of cup. The rest of the cup interior is white as is the well of the saucer. The handle of the cup is white with a gilt line design. The tiny foot of the cup is white with a gilt ring at the top and one at the bottom. Marked: "AYNSLEYS" "Rd. No. 68883" "L S & S" (in a banner) on both pieces. The saucer also has an 8-pointed star below and "7317" in over glaze. The "L S & S" banner and star are in over glaze. Probably for whom the pieces were made. CONDITION: Good (barely visible crazing on outside of cup)

Aynsley Jeweled/Enameled & Gilt demi c&s

Aynsley White Jeweled/Enameled & Gilt demi c&s. Porcelain. England. Aynsley. c. 1930s. Elegant & bejeweled demitasse coffee can & saucer. The pattern consists of a gilt transfer of garlands with a gilt border that had cuts out in it which resemble wreaths. The garlands are accented with raised enamel jewels in aqua. In some places they look like berries and in others, like beads draped from the garlands. On the saucer, the pattern dips into the well. Hand painted burnished gold edges, cup handle, ring on cup interior and band at cup foot. CONDITION: Excellent / Near Mint (pings). Every jewel is there! Really wonderful.

Royal Bayreuth 7" Lettuce Leaf handled plate. Porcelain. Bavaria. c. 1902. Marvelous figural serving plate relief molded in the form of a lettuce leaf. The handle is the leaf stem twisted over to make a loop. Colored in several shades of green w/ yellow flowers. Often used for serving lemon wedges. Measures approximately 7". (Pictured on p. 53, #344, of "Royal Bayreuth - A Collector’s Guide" by Mary J. McCaslin). CONDITION: Excellent (pings) wear to color on some raised portions. Displays beautifully.

Royal Bayreuth figural Tomato creamer. Porcelain. Germany. c. 1902. Just adorable. Figural creamer/pitcher in the form of a tomato. Green leaves at the top form the spout. The handle is its green stem. It stands on little green leafy feet. The body of the tomato is vivid orange-red. Measures approximately 3" tall. Not found as often as the other tomato creamer. Pictured (#486) on p. 61 of "Royal Bayreuth - A Collector’s Guide" by Mary J. Caslin. CONDITION: Excellent/Near Mint. Cute as can be!

Royal Bayreuth Figural Strawberry Creamer

Royal Bayreuth Figural Strawberry Creamer. Porcelain. Germany. c. 1902. Fantastic & Rare! Figural creamer/pitcher in the form of a strawberry. Green leaves at the top form the spout with a vine trailing to the base. The handle is its green stem with more leaves at the base. The body of the strawberry is in muted tones of red. Little white blossom at the top of the handle. Measures approximately 4" tall; 4.75" from spout to handle. Pictured (#539) on p. 65 of "Royal Bayreuth - A Collector’s Guide" by Mary J. Caslin. Hard to find in this condition! CONDITION: Excellent/Near Mint (2 tiny spots of paint misses - just mentioning to be very picky). A real beauty.

Royal Bayreuth figural Watermelon Creamer. Porcelain. Bavaria. c. 1902. Truly wonderful and very hard to find. Figural creamer/pitcher in the form of a watermelon. Green, white & pinkish leaves at the top form the spout. Other leaves surround the opening. The interior is tinted pink at the spout & around the top edge. The handle is its green stem. The body of the watermelon is striped in shades of green. Pictured on p. 59 (#448) of "Royal Bayreuth - A Collector’s Guide" by Mary J. Caslin. Measures approximately 4" tall. Just marvelous. CONDITION: Excellent. Quite rare!
