A beautiful black Victorian skirt in very nice condition. The real thing but not completely sure on age. Wearable medium weight fabric with double hem. The hidden hook and eye front close should be off to the left side when wearing. The front is shorter than the back for your vintage look. Slim through the waist with no defined waistline, over the wiggle hips, and then the hem is dazzling with a large ruffle and a net unslip there for fullness. Open weave flower fabric over a rayon lining. Sheer illusion delight. Fits my mannequin like a glove! Darling for the small gal. Appears home made to me. Lots of darts and pleats for the fitted look. THERE WERE PINS AT THE COLLAR AND HIP THAT HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND THE COLLAR ONES NEEDS REPLACED TO HOLD THE COLLARS UP. MINOR TLC. PERFECT FOR COSTUME THEATRE.
