Original Native American Dancers Watercolor Painting B.Fern
Original watercolor painting of Native American dancers, possibly for the peaceful Ghost Dance often practiced by Plains tribes. The dance was being performed when the massacre at Wounded Knee happened. Signed Barb. Fern 2002, but I could not find references. Reverse has a signed unfinished painting portrait of a US Navy seaman. Unframed, only condition problem is a small spot on the right side which could be covered by a mat if desired. Paper size 8 1/2 in. x 12 1/2 in.. Nicely done with a lightness that reflects the feeling of the dance. Perfect for gift-giving!
Circa: 2002
