Hutschenreuther Spaniel Dogs, U S Zone Hutschenreuther Spaniel Dogs have the Hutschenreuther mark on the base, along with Kunstabteituag, U S Zone. That dates this set from 1945 to 1949. There are 5.75" tall and 11" long. The one ahead is sitting, while the other one is standing. There are no chips; there is no crazing. There is a practically invisible hairline that I almost didn’t find. It’s on the back of the standing dog, approx 1.5" long. For this reason, my original price of $405 has been thrown out and replaced by $294.

Barrel Metal Bank with key Barrel Bank with key, Metal, from the Swedish-American Savings & Loan Company is 2.75" tall and free of damage. There is no rust; there are no dents; it is not scratched. The key works. although not smoothly! These banks are fairly easy to find, but they’re not easy to find in this great condition with a key that works!

German Lusterware salt and pepper lady Lusterware Salt and Pepper Lady with milk jugs is 4"tall, and her head comes off so that you can put another condiment there. The base has the word Germany inscribed, along with 1890. 1890 may be the year of manufacture, or it may be the product number. A similar set, with the central figure of a clown, is shown in Helene Guarnaccia’s Salt & Pepper Shakers IV, on page 113. His manufacturing date is shown as 1920, and his value is shown as $160 to $200. I think this set is cuter, and may be older. But I have listed her for only $130, shipping included to the 48 lower states.

Vintage bisque doll with wings and blue box Vintage bisque doll with wings and blue bow is 2´tall and nearly 3" long. There are no marks, so I don’t know who made her. She was in my mother’s collection, so I believe that she comes from Germany, around 1930. Her hands and fingers are prefect, as are her wings and hair bow. There are no chips, cracks or other damage. She’s delightful!

Japan Boy and Girl Japan Boy and Girl date from around 1949, and each is marked Made In Japan, on the base. They are 8" tall and seem to be a little shy. I love how the colors of their clothing make everything come together – with the green of her skirt in his paint, the blue of his jacket in her scarf, the orange of her blouse in his vest, the pink of his shirt in her sash, the blond of his hair as it peeps out from under his cap just to match hers. Free of any chips, cracks or damage, this is a delightful pair to simply enjoy.

German Pink pigs, kissing at water trough vGerman pink pigs kissing at a heart shaped trough are 2.5" tall and just as cute as can be. There is no mark on the base, which indicates that they date from around 1890. Probably exported to the US prior to the enactment of the McKinley Tariff Act of 1890, which required that all imported goods entering the country after March 1, 189l be marked with the name of the county of origin. They are in great condition with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. Their little ears and tails are all intact. Just a delightful memory of the past.

Goebel Friar Tuck Thermometer Friar Tuck Goebel Monk Thermometer dates from 1956. On the base is the stylized V mark, used in 1956. On one side of the scale is Celsius, and on the other is Fahrenheit. It actually still works! Back to the base, where it has the embedded mark KF66 and embedded 1956. There are no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. These are very difficult to find in this excellent condition, especially for the low price of $115, with postage included for the lower 48 states.

Ceramic Arts Studio Zebra Ceramic Arts Studio Zebra is 5"tall and has the Ceramic Arts Studio mark on his back leg, while the © is on his front leg. Made in 1952, the CAS Collector’s Association shows him to be rare, and they list his value as between $350 - $450 in the Ceramic Arts Studio Schiffer Book for Collectors. This little guy is free of chips, cracks or other damage. He’s in great shape, and I’m asking far less than book value. He can be yours for $195

German Pink Pigs in Purse German Pink Pigs in Purse are 3.5" tall, and each has a delightful expression. Ears are all intact, and there are no chips, cracks or other damage. The purse rim is trimmed in gold, and there is a factory pin prick under the glaze. As usual on these pieces, there is no mark, but this can be nothing other than vintage German Pink Pigs, dating from around 1890. Rador Campbell Couple Radnor Campbell couple is 7" tall and have the Radnor Bone China, England stamp on the base, along with the written "Campbell." They are full of great detail, as they wear their plaid with pride. There are no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. The paint is great and glossy, and they are in excellent condition, dating from around 1940. They are extremely difficult to find. .

MEM Oriental man and woman MEM Oriental man and woman are exquisite. She is 10" tall; he is 7" tall, sitting down. Both have the MEM marking in the base. They are not perfect, as she has a missing triangle in her left sleeve; and he might have a strand of hair in his beard that is shorter than it should be. I’m not sure about that. Pictures show this possibility. The faces of these two are really neat. They trimmed in gold, and he comes complete with fake stones in his hat, and rings. I’ve never seen MEM like these.

Josef Originals Piano Music Box Josef Originals - Piano Music Box - shows a girl with a fancy pink dress, playing the piano. It’s 6 tall, and the girl’s dress has gold highlights in the form of leaves, with some blue stones. The music box works perfectly, and it plays "Humoresque." The Josef Originals sticker is on the edge of the girls’s skirt. She was produced around 1965 and is in excellent condition. She does have a tiny paint skip in her hair, which is shown in the pictures. For this reason, she's been marked down to $73. But there are cracks or other damage. I love those dark black Japan eyes and the black notes on her sheet music.

Goebel Charlot Skaters Waltz Goebel Charlot Red Head is entitled Dating-N-Skating. This double figure beauty is 4.5" tall and originated in 1967 with the Goebel 3 line mark on the base. This piece is also known as The Skater’s Waltz. It’s in wonderful shape with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. Sculpted by Gerhard Bochmann, it books for $120 to $150 in the Goebel Figurines and Prints by Charlot Byj book and price guide. This piece is one of the harder ones to find, and it’s being offered here for only $104.
