Iron Hand For sale is an iron hand. Not sure if it is a doorstop or what. Just a cool item. No idea on its age. Estate sale item; it doesn't look brand new, but likely not antique either. It is 9 inches tall. Mold line are tight and straight until it gets up hear knuckle joints, then mold line is a bit wider. Great for a shabby chic room. Vintage Statuary Head For sale is a vintage statute of a head. At first look the clay appears to be terra cotta, but it is much heavier than ordinary terra cotta clay. It may be mixed with cement or be cement with a coloring over it. When I tap my fingernail on it, it does not sound like terra cotta either, it sounds like statuary. It is quite hefty and stands 10.5 tall x 6.5 wide. One fleabite hear bottom eyelid and 2 pinpops near backside; otherwise good condition. Not marked with any maker's marks; hollow inside. Just a really interesting piece of statuary. It looks fairly old. 10/09esa#

Antique Staffordshire Transferware Bowl For sale is a large antique bowl. c:1890-1910. Feels like ironstone. Gorgeous bowl w/transferware flowers and farm scene. Pattern is called 'Sunbeam', marked: F. Winkle & Co. England, no chips or cracks. You can use as a table centerpiece with fruit, or drill a hole in center bottom to use as a unique sink in your new, made to look vintage powder room. I also have the matching large pitcher but it is not being sold with this. Pitcher stands up okay, but bottom rim is very damaged. If you'd like it, it is $20 plus s&i, boxed separately, e-mail me. Vintage Signed Art Pottery Vase For sale is a vintage art pottery vase. Appears to be hand thrown; (has ridges on interior); and has an oriental symbol on bottom, (3 lines in a square), and Made in Japan and another symbol that looks like a tree. I am not expert on oriental marks, but similar marks can be viewed on the Gothborg site. This is a hefty vase; superb coloring and finish, reminiscent of Cliftwood art pottery but better. Age est: 1921-1940's at the latest; prior to 1921 it would have been marked Nippon. No chips or cracks; stands 6.25 tall. You can see the age/wear on the bottom rim which is very smooth and very dark. An absolutely fabulous piece of art pottery! 11/09#2170

Vintage Wood Rooster Cutting Board For sale is a vintage wood cutting board with hand painted roosters on side. Vintage condition, (knife/cut marks on surface since it was preowned and apparently used as intended). Vegetable oil or beeswax can spruce it up. Marked on back: Woodpecker Woodware, HP Japan. Vintage Ruby Cut to Clear Biscuit Jar For sale is a vintage ruby cut to clear biscuit jar. Heavy, old glass. Unfortunately the pics show it as a dark, almost purple; it is deep dark red with brilliant cut away, see pic #3, 7-8 for better color. No maker's marks on it. Lid has polish lines on it, (former owner must have gone a bit crazy), nothing felt to the touch, but you can see the lines up close. From 6 inches away, it is not noticeable. The jar is 8.2 5 tall up to finial. Very minor wear on this jar; a couple of fine scratches on bottom. The lid looks like silver plate. It is a magnificent jar; sorry the pics do not really capture its true beauty. 10/09roant#2699

Listed Napco Madonna Head Vase For sale is a vintage Napco madonna head vase. She is shown in the book on head vases; she did have a Napco label on bottom when purchased but it has left the premises! Bottom has ink mark R-7076, same as book show. She has a beautiful madonna w/child. She stands 7 tall and no chips or cracks spotted. There is some leftover floral goop in bottom of vase. Vintage Lustreware Condiment Set For sale is a vintage lustreware condiment set. Cute set with a symbol and Japan on bottom and cork stoppers. The manufacturer is Toshiro Shoten Ltd., which went out of biz in 1954. One teensy flaw: a little fleabite near one of the holes atop the shaker. Hard to find a complete set like this and the flaw is so tiny it is hardly worth mentioning, and as you know, Japanese ceramics are somewhat fragile. 10/09lab#
