Bronze Plaque Paperweight signed Jos. Prinz This is a handsome Art Nouveau cast bronze plaque fixed on an attractive piece of beige-brown marble with a wavy design. I am assuming it functions as a paperweight. The subject is a profile of a pretty lady typical of that era dating around 1907. Jos.Prinz was a well know artist in Vienna, Austria at the turn of the century. There are many small chips around the edge of the marble piece which are not too noticeable since they are the same color as the marble. In addition where are a few cracks in the surface only. The bronze has a fine patina The diameter is 2 ¾ inches (7cm) and the height 1 3/8 inches (3.5 cm), its weight is 420 grams, a little less than a pound. 15$ overseas postage
