Tressemann&Vogt T&V Limoges Oyster Plate This is an exquisite T&V Limoges France oyster plate for Marshall Field.

In superb condition, this oyster plate has the deep wells, so that ice could be put below the oysters. However, given the condition of this beautiful oyster plate, it is possible that it was never used. The gold is amazing!

Elegant Tressemann&Vogt Limoges Oyster Plate This is truly one of the most wonderful oyster plates we have had the pleasure of having in our collection!

One of South Florida's top porcelain repair specialists repaired a flea bite on the back of the oyster plate. The repair cannot be seen either by magnification or by black light. Aside from that, the plate is in extraordinaty condition, including the gold, which is some of the most beautiful we have ever seen.

The plate's diameter is 9 1/2 inches, and its underglaze white ware mark was used from 1892 until 1907.

This would be an amazing addition to any fine oyster plate collection!

Weimar Germany Porcelain Oyster Plate This is a Weimar oyster plate, but the mark is very faint; however, the Weimar shield mark can been seen. It is there, but it looks like an effort was made at the time of manufacture to conceal the Weimar mark.

The decorating is almost more Dresden in style, color and appearance, so it is possible that Dresden decorated this Weimar oyster plate. Dresden and Weimar are very near each other in Germany.

It is in fabulous condition, witn no chips, cracks, restorations, hairlines, etc. The porcelain is beautifully translucent, and the Dresdenesque colors are fresh, not faded. The diameter is 8 1/4 inches.
