Vintage Leather Buttons Seven (7) vintage woven leather buttons. Assorted colors and sizes. No identifying markings. The large black button with leather shank measures about 1 inch in diameter. The gray button with molded self shank measures about 7/8 inch in diameter. The lighter brown button with molded self shank measures about 3/4 inch in diameter. The two tan brown buttons and one black button with leather shanks each measure about 5/8 in diameter. These six buttons have minor wear and are in Fine condition. The dark brown button with wire shank measures just over 3/4 inch in diameter. This last button has some wear and scuffing and is in Good condition.

Vintage Buttons Mixed Lot of 85 Approximately 85 vintage buttons, averaging from half inch to 1.5 inches in diameter. Included in this assortment are two buttons with the Teutonic eagle marked Es Devs Spes Nostra (Latin translation: God Is Our Hope). These two reproduction buttons resemble those originally worn by Hessian soldiers during the Revolutionary War. The remaining colorful buttons include rhinestone, plastic, and Bakelite styles. Fine condition.

Lion Crest Buttons Five (5) contemporary plastic buttons with faux brass finish. Each button measures about .75 inches in diameter and has a lion crest raised pattern. The back of each button is marked Sailing Boat Brand. These buttons have a uniform finish - the light reflected from the camera flash creates highlights. Excellent condition.

Large Coat Button This is a most unusual button! I believe it came from a coat, but I haven't been able to find another like it. The top measures about 1-1/8 inches in diameter. The sides are graduated measuring from about 1/4 inches to 1-1/4 inches. Almost black in color with a greenish-yellow center and a kiss of purple highlights. No identifying markings. Excellent condition.

Marble Swirl Pattern Decorative Tin This lovely round tin measures about 8 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. Originally held Grandma’s Bake Shoppe fruit and nut cake. The lid offers a raised oval signature logo of Grandma. This marble swirl pattern tin is in Excellent condition. Metal tins work great for storing sewing buttons, stationery supplies, holiday treats, and other small treasures.
