Vintage Sawdust Filled Hound Dog This vinyl sad-eyed pup measures about 5.25 inches high. Circa late 1950s, early 1960s. The heart-shaped black nose, red hat, and red tongue are felt material. He has a yellow material bow tie with a heart-shaped tag on his neck and a yellow yarn tuff of hair on his head. This vintage hound still has his original paper ear tag that reads Famus Corporation and Japan. Also marked: Filled with sawdust, Excelsior, Kapok. His tush tag reads Jestia No. 725 Japan. No tears or stains. Minor wear. Caramel brown, chocolate brown, smoky gray, and vanilla white vinyl body. Underneath of ears - white material. Fine condition.
