Children Sledding Porcelain Figurine-Mexico This adorable porcelain figurine of 2 children sledding is stamp marked on the bottom and also has it's original label that is marked: PS / Made in Mexico by Porselana De Cuernavaca SA DE CV, there is also the artist initials PP in brown. Beautifully done in colors of light tan, dark tan, light and dark blue on a white porcelain background it measures 5 3/4 inches tall, 6 1/4 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide.

Arnart Music Figurine #2613 by Erick Stauffer This figurine of a young girl playing an accordian has a paper label on the base that says Music and is marked on the bottom: Arnart 5th. Ave. / Hand Painted / #2613 and still has the paper label, Made in Japan.
Arnart was founded in 1953 in Japan to produce porcelain art, and had offices on 5th Avenue in New York, the Arnart 5th Ave. mark was introduced 1957.
During the mid 1950's Arnart decided to make their own series of figurines; this decision was based on the popularity of the Hummel figurines produced by the German Goebel company. Arnart employed the designer Erich Stauffer to design these figurines.
In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites she measures 5 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches deep.

Obsidian Tiki Figurine/Paperweight with Eagle Headdress This unusual Tiki figurine/paperweight with eagle and feathers headdress is unmarked and is made from Obsidian.
Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. It is produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools without crystal growth. Obsidian is also used for ornamental purposes and as a gemstone. It possesses the property of presenting a different appearance according to the manner in which it is cut. When cut in one direction it is a beautiful jet black; when cut across another direction it is glistening gray.
In ancient mythic Hawaii, from fire spewing volcanos too powerful crashing surf, ancient Hawaiians filled their amazing land and history with tiki gods.
As you can see in the side picture #5 it has veins running through it and when held up to light you can see a grey hue mixed in the black glass.
In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 4 1/4 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 2 inches deep.
