hallmark456

Hallmark 2001 Baby Boy's First Christmas Ornament This never used Hallmark 2001 Christmas Keepsake Ornament, Baby Boy's First Christmas, is numbered #QX8365 and comes in it's original box that is marked: Made Sri Lanka.
On January 10, 1910, a teenager from Nebraska, Joyce Clyde Hall, stepped off a train in Kansas City, Mo., with little more than big dreams and two shoeboxes of picture postcards. From those inauspicious beginnings an iconic brand was born. One hundred years and billions of well-wishes later, Hallmark Cards, Inc. celebrates its own 100th birthday in 2010 with a nod to the past, a focus on the future, and the grandsons of that Nebraska teenager at the helm.
Today we’re best known for greeting cards, ornaments, the stores that bear our name and television programming, but what we’re really about is relationships and the emotional connections our products and experiences represent, says Donald J. Hall, Jr., Hallmark’s president and CEO and grandson of founder J.C. Hall. It’s a privilege few companies in the world enjoy, and a trust we intend to keep.
A stately yellow and blue giraffe with yarn mane and tail he has a blue pacifier on a ribbon around his neck. On one side of his blanket it says; Baby's 1st. Christmas while on the other it says 2001.
In new condition he measures 3 1/4 inches tall, 2 inches long and 1 1/8 inches deep.
An addition to any Hallmark Christmas Ornament Collection.
SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.

A young boy on Christmas Eve who is hoping for belief in the true spirit of Christmas. He suddenly hears some noise from downstairs and runs to investigate. Seeing a shadow of what appears to be Santa Claus, he soon discovers that it is his parents. He runs back to his room and looks through magazines and encyclopedias for confirmation of Santa Claus and the North Pole, but to no avail. Hearing his parents coming, he runs back to bed and pretends to be asleep while his parents whisper about how he had once stayed up late listening for Santa Claus. About an hour after they leave, a magic train called The Polar Express pulls up in front of his house. He is invited aboard by the train's mysterious conductor to journey to the North Pole. Though he initially hesitates, he boards the train after it starts to move. The boy is handpicked by Santa Claus to receive The First Gift Of Christmas. Realizing that he could choose anything in the world, the boy asks for the beautiful-sounding silver bell (that only believers can hear) which fell from Santa's sleigh. The boy places the bell in the pocket of his robe and all the children watch as Santa takes off for his yearly delivery.

Hallmark 2001 Friends Are The Special Joy To Any Season This never used glass with plastic sleeve Hallmark 2001 Christmas Keepsake Ornament, Friends Are The Special Joy To Any Season, is numbered #QX2242 and comes in it's original box that is marked: Made in U.S.A.
With baby animals on one side that include bunnies, a hedgehog, a red bird, an owl and squirrels, the other side has a hugging Snow Couple.
An addition to any Hallmark Christmas Ornament Collection.

Back in 1972 Corning announced a new decoration process permitting art work prints and photographs to be permantly adhered to the bulb. Color reproductions were printed on a plastic sleeve and slipped over the ornament which shrank, once heat was applied. This technology with the concept of limited editions, a soon to become fad of the 1970s which continued quite successfully into the 1980s and 90s.
Norman Rockwell was born in New York on 3rd February, 1894. Rockwell enjoyed drawing and decided he wanted to be an artist at an early age. He studied at Chase Art School, the National Academy of Design and the Arts Students League. While a student he began having his drawings published in Boys Life magazine. Rockwell's editor was so impressed by his work and made him art director of the magazine.
Rockwell's ambition was to produce a painting used on the front-cover of the Saturday Evening Post. In March 1916 he travelled to Philadelphia to see George Horace Lorimer, the editor of the magazine. When Lorimer saw his work he immediately accepted two covers and commissioned three more. This was the start of his long-term relationship with the magazine that was to last over 45 years.
This 3 sectioned ornament is marked:
From the Norman Rockwell Collection / 1982 / Hallmark Cards Inc.
Hearts are light,
Smiles are bright,
Child's delight--
It's Christmas!
With 3 different pictures of young boys, one in his pajamas and robe looking as if he came across Santa, one dressing in a large Santa Suit and one dressed in his Choir Clothes singing.
While the satin ball itself and the sleeve are both in very good + condition the plastic hanger is broken and needs to be replaced as I have shown in my pictures and it measures 4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide.
