Precious Moments Bring The Little Ones To Jesus Plate
This beautiful 1993 Precious Moments Bring The Little Ones To Jesus plate #531359 has the Butterfly mark, that represents the rebirth of man who comes from darkness into the light with Sam Butchers signature on the back. Precious Moments, the trademark pastel-hued figurines with teardrop-shaped eyes, were created by Samuel Butcher of Missouri in 1978, with 21 figurines (Original 21). Sam Butcher was a preacher, and he based his creations on Christian values, naming each figurine based on either sayings from children, or deriving from their innocence. In 1974, a friend invited him to join forces and start the Jonathan & David inspirational greeting card business, utilizing the teardrop-eyed children Sam had been drawing for family and friends over the years. Sam called them Precious Moments because they carried messages of loving, caring and sharing to those he loved. This company was the first step toward the phenomenal success of Sam and his Precious Moments illustrations. In 1979, Enesco Corporation transformed the artwork into porcelain bisque figurines. In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it comes in the original box with 2 booklets and display card inside, this plate was exclusively designed for the Child Evangelism Fellowship. The plate measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. An addition to any Precious Moments Plate Collection. SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.
