The "immigrants" is Henryk Winograd's adaptation in Masterfully Superb Repousse Silver of a drawing from the archives of the New York Historical Society which depicts the Jewish Immigrants arriving at Ellis Island. A large version of this plaque in silver has been on display at the Immigration Museum on Ellis Island. Henryk Winograd was born in Poland and escaped to Russia at the outbreak of World War II. This is a rendition of the Northern Pacific Locomotive that was met at Promnitory Point Utah as the United States was first connected by rail across the whole continent. It measures 4-1/2 inches long x 2 inches wide x 3/8 inches deep at top (and 9/16 inches deep at base). Weighs approx 6 ounces. Has black felt bottom. In excellent condition.

17 Jewel Borel Windup Watch We have been commissioned by a local church ministry to offer this Beautiful Vintage 1960's 17 Jewel Borel Windup Watch which was donated to them. It appears to be in good working order and has been keeping accurate time since we have had it in our possession. It has a rotating disk front and an open back in which the jewels and the the working of the watch can be observed. The hands are red and the face and rotating disk are blue. The case is goldtone and it has an original blue band w/gold ink embossing. Buckle is marked Borel. Suede carrying case included. In excellent condition. Proceeds will go to help those in need.
