Enjoy scrolling through EAPG (Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass), along with other vintage glass, pottery, silver, pewter, old coins, collector books, cylinder records, etc. New unused, precious and semi-precious gem jewelry, STERLING, gold-filled or plate, and older costume jewelry will be added as it is sorted.
See below (About us) for the big picture! I am strictly a collector, not an expert, and I don't buy large lots of material.
Glass (EAPG) is my focus, but I also inherited a lot of "stuff" from my parents, much of it collected in the 1950's-1960's (semi-antique), and much of their material dating back to the Victorian era. My father loved lots of "old" things, often recounting fond memories associated with them. It's taking a long time, but I will slowly add interesting items, along with photos and as much history as I know about them.
Only large items such as furniture, rugs, phonographs, etc., are not practical for this venue. However, if you are local to northwest CT, and can pick-up an item, feel free to email and inquire.
Thanks,

Antique STERLING ornate jam cover, BSC, no insert
Weighing 2.1 oz., this lovely ornate Victorian jam jar with flip lid and handle, does not have its glass insert. It is marked: Sterling, 1456, BSC under the edge of the bottom lip. That lip also has 2 small hinged flaps which obviously were used to hold in the glass insert. The entire surface is ornately engraved, and has a small script initial C on the front. My research tells me that BSC stands for Bixby Sterling Company of Providence RI, which was known for its hollowware, ca 1896-1909. No damage; looks like it can polish up quite well (still shiny inside). Measures 2 ˝ inches tall x 2 5/8 inches across the base. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 2 lbs. from 06068. #510
