Enjoy scrolling through EAPG (Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass), other vintage glass, pottery, silver, pewter, old coins, collector books, cylinder records, etc. New unused, precious and semi-precious gem jewelry, STERLING, gold-filled or plate, and older costume jewelry will be added as it is sorted.
I am strictly a collector, not an expert, and I don't buy large lots of material.
Glass (EAPG) is my focus, but I also inherited a lot of "stuff" from my parents, much of it collected in the 1950's-1960's (semi-antique), and much of their material dating back to the Victorian era. It's taking a long time, but I will slowly add interesting items, along with photos and as much history as I know about them.
Only large items such as furniture, rugs, phonographs, etc., are not practical for this venue. However, if you are local to northwest CT, and can pick-up an item, feel free to email and inquire.
If paying by check, please issue to:

For the collector of historic glass, two (2) plates of our 18th president, US Grant, "Let us have peace" plates. Made upon his death in 1885, both plates measure 10 ½ diameter. See photos for excellent detail & historic information. This pattern with its pointy leaf border is subject to chipping. Of the 27 points, the clear plate has only one chip. The amber plate, however, has 12 chips, only 4 of which are obvious without close inspection. These are original issue, not reproductions. EAPG: The Peoples Money: Bryan campaign mug
William Jennings Bryan was a presidential candidate in 1896. His battle cry was "The People’s Money." This mug is an election commemorative from 1896. Bryan lost that election to McKinley, and did not win when he ran again, losing twice to Teddy Roosevelt. But this mug lives on! Made by McKee & Bros., height is 3 ½". There is no lid. Other than a minor flake to the inside rim & a few small spots of graying, which you really have to search for, the mug is in good condition. Referred to in many books, including Lindsey, Mordock’s Mugs, this is a great way for children to learn about history. I personally have had fun collecting historical glassware, & brushing up on past American events. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 2 lbs. from 06068. #345
