Vintage Enamel on Cast Iron Chicken Game Hen Roaster Cooker Set Vintage Enamel on Cast Iron Chicken Game Hen Roaster Cooker Set. Four vintage enamel on cast iron game hen or chicken roasters. This set has an estimated age of 1950's to 1970's, it is made of cast iron with with an enamel finish over the cast iron.

The large center spike of this pan radiates heat through the center of a chicken or other poultry for remarkably even cooking. It is designed for use in both conventional and convection ovens and can even be used on gas, charcoal and natural wood grills.
This style cooker keeps food healthy and juicy by reducing fat cooking, and retains heat by cooking from the inside out. The base of the chicken roaster collects juice from the chicken or hen for use in soups or gravy.

This roaster is 5" and spike is 2 3/4" tall, it in very good condition with some normal light signs of use. A hard to find addition to your kitchen or collection.

Vintage Cast Iron Griswold Wagner Cornbread Pan Vintage Cast Iron Griswold Wagner Cornbread Pan. Griswold and Wager Cast Iron was produced from 1865 through the late 1950s. One of the benefits of cooking with cast iron is that even the oldest pieces can be used and enjoyed without worry of damage. Cast Iron is considered by many to be of health benefit due to the iron content of this type of cookware and many people say that nothing compares to food that cooked in cast iron. This piece is not marked as to whether it was made by Wagner or Griswold, it is a quality piece and was no doubt made by one of these two companies. The only marking on this piece is 7Se, it is 12 3/4 inches by 5 5/8 inches, makes seven pieces and has the handled ends. It is in very good condition, it does need some light cleaning on the inside of the cob mold and needs to be seasoned before using it to cook with. Please see our other listings for additional pieces of cast iron.
