Samsonite Fashionaire Wild Gardenia Black White Flower Garment Super Rare Find! Vintage Samsonite Luggage Fashionaire Black and White Flower Wild Gardenia Pattern Hanging Garment Bag. This pattern is from the 1960's, it has black and white flowers with Veuve Clicquot orange interior fabric. This line was reproduced in 2007 with a limited edition of 600 suitcases, retail price of $580. This garment bag is the original 1960's bag and not one of the reproduction pieces.

The black and white flower pattern on the outside of the bag is a heavy vinyl fabric, the orange lining of the bag is Veuve Clicquot and is made of fabric. This garment bag is a really hard to find piece in this line. It has a suitcase style handle on the top to carry it, each side of the bag has a large belt buckle style closure, there is a zippered pocket on the front of the bag that has a lock and two keys. The bottom has four plastic feet and a metal hanger that folds down so the bag can be hung when not traveling.

The inside of the bag when unzipped, rolls up on its own, and roll to the top of the bag where the hangers are, a really neat feature that Samsonite designed into this bag. It has the original fabric covered hangers included, these hangers can removed and used when you get to your destination. There is a shoe bag compartment at the bottom of the bag, has four slot for shoes, top flap comes over this area that your clothing is not exposed to your shoes.

The folded size of this bag is 22 inches tall and 11" wide and 23 1/2 inches across, the open size of this bag is about 50 inches long and it is 23 1/2 inches across. The top has the Samsonite logo on the handle along with S and C on either side, assume the S C looks stands for Samsonite Case or something along that line because it does not appear to be someone's initials but rather a factory applied part.

This garment bag is in mint condition, it appears to have not been used, no soiled spots and no signs of wear.

Please see our other listings for a matching piece to this line and additional vintage luggage.

ts6224

Samsonite Fashionaire Wild Gardenia Black White Flower Suitcase Vintage Samsonite Luggage Fashionaire Black and White Flower Power Pattern Large Size Suitcase. This pattern is from the 1960's, the original name of the pattern is Wild Gardenia and it is black and white flowers with Veuve Clicquot orange interior fabric. This line was reproduced in 2007 with a limited edition of 600 suitcases, retail price of $580. This suitcase is the original 1960's bag and not one of the reproduction pieces.

The black and white flower pattern on the outside of the bag is a heavy vinyl fabric, the orange lining of the bag is Veuve Clicquot and is made of fabric. This suitcase is in good condition, it does have signs of use but overall is clean bag. It is 29 inches long by 20 inches tall and 8 inches wide, has an elastic edged pocket on the clothing divider, elastic is not stretched out, divider has a turn style tab at the top to hold it in place.

The interior is in very good condition, clean, no stains except for one that is in the upper right corner of the case in the section behind the clothing divider. The outer surface is in good condition, it does have some very light yellowing to the vinyl around the edges in spots that are age related, one spot where the surface has been hit against something but did not cut the surface, sort of indented it. There is also some wear to the surface on the two very bottom corners on side, the surface has been damaged, like a wear spot but this is on the bottom of the case and not noticeable unless you are looking for it.

Overall this bag is in very good condition, a hard to find piece.
Please see our other listings for a matching piece to this line and additional vintage luggage.

ts6217

Vintage Partners Please Malco Modes Pink Crinoline Lace Petticoat Vintage Partners Please by Malco Modes Pink Crinoline Lace Petticoat Slip Tutu, a perfect of example of the Rockabilly style. This petticoat was made from the 1960's to the 1970's by Malco Modes of San Francisco. I was originally made as petticoat for under a square dance dress, however, the style has continued to be popular and this vintage slip are often worn as a skirt or tutu as well as under a dress.

This petticoat is a beautiful shade of light pink, is a size medium. There are two layers of solid pink organza or crinoline, each ruffle is edged with satin ribbon between the layers, the bottom of the ruffle has the satin ribbon with a 1 1/4" edge of crinoline. The top is of cool cotton for your dancing comfort. This slip has lots of fluff to it and is absolutely beautiful.

The elasticized waist has a button at the back so that you don't stretch the elastic out when taking it off and on, the waist measures 24 inches at rest, stretching to 32 inches. Measured from the top of the waistband the length is 23 inches. It is made of 100% nylon exclusive of the trim and it is hand washable, drip or fluff dry. It is vintage, new old stock and has not been worn, so is in excellent condition with the original label attached. Please see our other listings for additional slips, I have several of these available in different colors and sizes.
