You"re looking at an amazing flip toy called Boy on Trapeze still in the original box! This little fellow flips over the bar when you turn a knob. He was manufactured in Japan, patent no. 30-23220. I have no idea when exactly he dates to, but my guess is the late 1930"s. Toy buffs out...
