Victorian Brooch-Pin - Red Stone, Rose Gold

I believe this Victorian pin, heavily plated with rose gold fill is silver based though probably not sterling. It measures about 2 inches x 1 1/2 and has small red (ruby?) stone held by 6 prongs.
