Threaded Glass Lid for Crystal Jar

This is a glass lid that fits a "Crystal Jar" (this is the name of the jar, not type of jar. It is marked "Patented Dec 17, 1878". It was designed to fit the Crystal Jar without using any metal - a rubber ring formed a seal between the glass likd and the mouth of the glass jar....
