This is a wooden mortar and pestle datineing from the early 19th century or possibly late 18th. It is 8.5 inches tall. The motar is nicely turned with a distinct foot and no less than 9 grooved bands. The pestle is alse well turned. There are also numerous small cracks from the shrinking wood...
