Victorian Sewing Chatelaine with Silver Thimble Holder

I haven"t a clue why I bought this since I deal in jewelry, but I thought it was so neat; and after all the Victorian ladies wore their chatelaines like jewelry.

This chatelaine belt is all handmade. Metal rings that are 7/8" in diameter are crocheted with soft yellow embroidery...
