Adams & Co. and other manufacturers produced this pattern c. 1881. These are 4 ¼" flat based sauces. Around the bowl band are alternating clustered laurel leaves shaped like an arrow, a single flower sprig with 4 leaves and an "x" pattern of dots with a vertical dotted line through it. Several small flat flakes are on the top rim surface of the one that has the best pressing, most about 1/16 – 1/8". The second sauce is a weak pressing indicating a worn mold. Inside top rim has one flat 1/8" flake. (#3829 X 2-3)
