In the early 1950s my sister and I were mad for packs of trading cards we usually bought at the dime store. Lots of kids in my school has packs of them, usually carefully wrapped with a thick rubber band, and we would trade away all through recess. The pictures on the cards varied: dogs, horses, flowers, Victorian scenes, etc. While I do find old baseball and cigarette cards, I've never found any of the cards we used to play with. My sister is quite ill and has to spend a lot of time in bed. I'd love to find some of these old cards for her. I'd wrap a rubber band around them and present them to her that way! If anyone can direct me to some, I'd really appreciate it! Diana Cooper - dianamichele@hotmail.com
