Eagle Brand milk, orange zest and I think corn flakes".

This recipe is from the Borden/Eagle Brand Recipe Flyer, dating from the
mid 40's. This was the only recipe featuring corn flakes - I hope this is
what you're looking for! I don't see why you couldn't substitute 3 squares
of baking chocolate (melted) for the peanut butter, and add about a half
teaspoon of orange zest to get the flavor you're looking for.

Six-Way Cookies (makes about 30)


1 1/3 cups (15 oz can) Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/2 cup peanut butter


Any one of the six ingredients listed below:
1) 2 cups raisins
2) 2 cups corn flakes
3) 3 cups shredded coconut
4) 2 cups bran flakes
5) 1 cup chopped nut meats
6) 2 cups chopped dates


1. Mix Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, peanut butter, and any
one of the six ingredients listed above.
2. Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
3. Bake in moderately hot oven (375 F) 15 minutes or until brown.
4. Remove from pan at once.
