It was created by Vincent Roubert in collaboration with Francois Coty. It has been a favored scent for decades with aldehydic foral and woody undertones. Unopened and sealed, this full, heavy bottle contains 12.7 oz of Au Parfum L'Aimant Bath Salts by Coty. Complete with its beautiful red, bakelite cap atop the Art Deco styled bottle with quot;Coty quot; embossed on its base. The front, foil label is undisturbed and reads in red quot;Sels Pour Le Bain L'Aimant de Coty Bath Salts New York Paris Net Wgt 12.70 ozs Blended in U.S.A. quot; Amazingly found in its original cardboard, packing box with original label. A magnet acts as a catch and the lining is a lush velvet to protect your most valuable items. The box is constructed uses mitered corners with Bloodwood splines; these joints are very decorative as seen when the box is open. The top profile is created using had planes and scrapers. Mark adds quot;..the sensuous feel of the top would be hard to replicate using machinery quot; The finish is a traditional shellac and is protected with a hard carnauba containing wax. Mahogany has been revered for generations as the favorite of cabinetmakers for its workability and striking iridescent ribbons while Bloodwood is very hard, durable and takes a wonderful polish. For maintaining it's sheen, simply buff lighly with a clean soft rag.
