To the left are trumpeters and to the right The Lord Chancellor and members of the Order of Chivalry. The reverse shows St. George on horseback in front of Windsor Castle and among heraldic devices and Commonwealth flags. Incised on the handles are the names of various Commonwealth countries: Canada, Australia, India, South Africa, New Zealand, Ceylon, Kenya, Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, and the State of Tasmania. One side shows the seal of the state of Utah dated 1896, the other is the logo of the 1897 Jubilee. The top band shows a wagon train and the lower shows an Indian attack and village. The base is marked quot;Commemoration of the Arrival of the First Band of Pioneers into the Valley of Great Salt Lake July 24th 1847 quot;.
