The book is numbered 37 out of 350 autographed copies, of which only 250 were for sale. This book is hard cover, and has 4 magnificent lithographs inside. The binding is in great condition, there is a small spot on the front cover about the size of a quarter . This is an unmade model of the Gertrude L. Thebaud, Grand Banks Schooner. The model is in excellent condition and parts are still packaged. Includes the hull, 2 deck pieces, 2 packages of parts in their original plastic bags, and one smaller unopened bag with 2 spools of threads and 2 tubes of glue. Has the original tissue paper packing in the original box with inserts. Includes the original instructions which are like new. The box is slightly rough with rubbing and some edgewear, corners have been stapled a long time ago to keep the box together, they are well placed but I don't think original to the box. The box has some occasional spots or nicks or tape remnants, not too bad, some old pencil writing on the title label. Inside the lid is evidence of past dampstain, no effect on the contents. Inside the dividers are slightly misshapen from age. Overall very good box with like new contents. Rare vintage model from Kleeware. Likely issued in the 1960's.
