William Moorcroft BURSLEM Pomgranate Bud Vase 1913-1916

A rare and superb example of an early Moorcroft Bud Vase decorated with the Pomegranate design and set against the paler, green blue ochre background of the very early pieces. Please note that the background colour is ever so slightly darker than my images show. The Vase is also notable for the decoration, which, as often seen on earlier pieces, also extends to some decoration around the slender neck. It's also notable for having the full, William Moorcroft green signature to the base, in spite of the fact that these smaller pieces were more likely to have initials only. Stamped with the Moorcroft, Burslem, 1913-16 stamp, the item is offered in excellent condition, but PLEASE NOTE that there has been a small, professional restoration to the rim, which has been expertly done and is very difficult to detect. All in all, the little vase displays magnificently and would be a wonderful addition to a collection. MAXIMUM Air mail shipping of 15.00, dependant on destination. Optional tracking and insurance for loss only is available for a further 8.00.

Shelly Late Foley Vase Surrey Scenery

Standing 6.00 inches tall, a Shelley Vase depicting the Surrey Scenery design. The design is of a delightful, rural setting in the United Kingdom county of Surrey, and completely surrounds the circumference of the vase. I have shown all aspects of this in the images. The Vase is generally in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. Unusually with vases of this type and design, which are susceptible to paint loss, the decoration is pretty much intact with only some minor ware around the edge of the green rim and, more importantly, only a few minor scratches to the design which do little to detract from the display. MAXIMUM Air mail shipping of 20.00, dependant on destination. Optional tracking and insurance for loss only is available for a further 8.00.
