<title>Fenton Cobalt Canaan Valley Bell Lamp</title>
<link>http://pages.tlcantiques.net/8609/PictPage/3923703613.html</link>
<description>Traditional Cobalt glass brings warm country charm to American homes. This deep blue is a classic glass color from our nation&#x27;s early history. It was popular in the late 1890s, when several companies made items commemorating the Spanish-American War hero Admiral Dewey. Because of his well-publicized naval victories, a deep blue symbolic of the ocean was chosen to honor Dewey. Fenton&#x27;s Cobalt begins with silica sand, soda ash and lime, which accounts for 95 of the batch. The remaining 5 is composed of special ingredients which impart the desired color to the glass when the batch is melted at 2500 degrees F. This Cobalt 22 1 2 inch Bell Lamp is majestic alone, but adding Michelle Kibbe&#x27;s Canaan Valley design puts it over the top. Added to this series in 2009 brighten your room with this glistening lamp </description>
