Very attractive 3 piece console set in ivory color glaze from Rumrill Pottery. The set has a shell shaped 6 1/2 x 3” high bowl and two matching candle holders. One holder does have small rim flake (see photo) and the bowl has some light age crazing on the interior. Otherwise, pretty good condition considering it dates to the mid 30’s. Rumrill Pottery was located in Little Rock, Arkansas and only operated from 1933-1938. It was an offshoot, of sorts, from Redwing, when George Rumrill decided to strike out on his own. The bowl is marked in the clay “Rumrill H29”. |
