Tiffany Studios Favrile Glass plate in Amethyst Opalescent glass. This original piece of hard-to-find Amethyst colored Tiffany glass is in MINT condition and measures 6 3/4 inches in diameter. The plate has ten "spokes" of pulled white opalescence radiating from the center to the edge; the edge shades from a gentle amethyst color to an intense amethyst at its outer edges. The piece is signed in a very obscure place and is extremely difficult to photograph; a poor attempt is included but the signature is guaranteed and reads "LC Tiffany Favrile" along the edge of its bottom rim. This is an exquisite piece of Tiffany Opalescent Glass!! |
