Why Don't You Write? is the question on the front of this WWII-era greeting card which shows a small girl, her blond pigtails flying behind her as she floats under a bouquet of multicolored balloons.
More balloons are inside with the verse:
I think about you all the time, Morning, noon and night, But I could think lots better If you would only WRITE.
The card measures about 4.25- by 5-inches and is from old store stock of the 1940s, so has never been used. It's marked made in USA by Castle-Craft. (t 9041)
