Circa: early 1900's Condition: Good+ Manufacturer: not marked
This is a unique 7.25" long nickel plated long nose or tapered nose pliers! The inside jaws are smooth with a half notch on each side that appears to be made for hold a small diameter pin or the alike. The handles and the jaw touch together at the same time when closed, and they appear to be made that way as there is no sign of them being bent at at all. The nickel plating is about 80% intact, mostly worn off on or near the nose area. These pliers came with some other special medical pliers, but I would say they would be useful to a clock repairman or other small parts work. A unique set of early pliers! |
