An oval Art Nouveau sash ornament that has a flowing but symmetrical leaf design stamped in a grey metal. There is some rose gold coloring at the top and bottom, perhaps indicating a brass or gold wash. These were worn at the waist on a belt or sash and today could be worn with a scarf. The slide on the back has two holes which allowed the buckle/ornament to be permanently attached to a sash. This slide dates to the early 1900s and is in good condition.
