Offering this handsome large cast iron trivet, wonderful ornate design - floral pinwheel in the center and curved leaves at the bottom; crisp high quality casting, sets on 4 feet; measures 8 inches x 5 3/4 inches. Marked on back Hopewell (a company, I believe used to make stoves); possibly this trivet went with one of their stoves. Good+++ condition, no cracks or chips, very clean, this is an oldie, no black paint; late 1800's - early 1900's. A wonderful and unusual, rare, addition to your collection! |
