This unique solid brass mortar is in good condition. Exterior of mortar has a series of images of engraved depicting men with spears and a throned man receiving gifts. The mortar measures 3.25 inches high and 4 inches in diameter. Not much wear on the inside but there is some discoloration. The finish of the brass is very good with normal wear for it's purpose. The mortar has a lip around the base for additional stability. There are no markings indicating the manufacturer. This is an excellent piece for your brass or medical collection. |
