An early Sarah Coventry prongset necklace with curliques, quality linkage and a gold-filled look. Unsigned, but I have seen the identical necklace with a SAC metal hangtag and have also seen a very similar necklace marked Emmons in Maryanne Dolan's "Collecting Rhinestone and Colored Jewelry" book with a listed value of $200.-$250. Emmons was the earlier sister company of Sarah Coventry, indicating a possible circa date of the early 1950s. A great vintage costume necklace for those dressier occasions.
