One of eight in the Nature's Collage series by Lenox China. This plate is called Among the Berries and has two Cedar Waxwings, Redbirds or Kingfishers sitting in a winterberry tree. The plate is Lenox Ivory porcelain and has a 24k carat karat rim with hand painted accents. It is a limited edition dated 1992 and measures 8.25 inches across. This 1 comes Mint but No original box or Certificate of Authenticity. Stand not included. For display only It is not food safe. About the creator of these paintings: Her name is Catherine McClung and she is a native of Canada but her home is in Michigan. This is her first ever collection of porcelain plates. She paints in acrylic watercolor with a technique where she applies multiple layers of glazes to create the transition from the softness of the background to the precise shapes of the birds and flowers. She has received numerous honors from museums and wildlife foundations for her bird paintings. She has done numerous commissioned works for large foundations and corporations during her career & won several Best of show and Artist of the Year awards.
