Offering this pair of vintage fold out valetines; first one is a little Dutch boy holding an envelope with a red heart, behind is a large urn with hearts; on front reads To My Sweetheart, and inside My Valentine with charms so sweet, I lay this offering at your feet. Very good condition, no tears or stains, unsigned and unmarked, measures 4 inches x 2 1/2 inches. The second card is a fold out honeycomb, ornate decorations on the front flap, opens to red tissue honeycomb and a colorful lithograph of a young boy serenading his young lady in the window. Measures 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches, very good condition, no holes, tears, or stains, neatly signed on back and marked made in USA. Circa 1920's. A nice little pair for your valentine collection! |
